Good News for SMU-DE Students!
Dear SMU-DE Students,
Sikkim High Court has order a judgement in favour of Students (For Passed and Studying Students of study centres across India and Nepal) of Sikkim Manipal University-DE.
The Hon'ble Sikkim High Court has ordered and asked the MHRD-GOI and UGC to update the information based on
1. Sikkim High Court Order vide ----WR(C) no.04 of 2013,
2. Sikkim High Court Order Vide--- WP(C) No.08 of 2015
3. And the Order of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India dated 21st Sep 2015 in SPL (Civil) Nos.26223 of 2015 and 26239 of 2015.
The order says that students of SMU-DE both Passed and Studying (New Admission upto 26th June 2015) in the Study centres across India and Nepal Degree's are recognised as valid and equal on terms with Indian Degree/Programme.
