“The Glorious past of Bihar an educational tour” was planned
and shaped by our college and students of BCA and BSC-IT (Final Year) students
were visited Nalanda and Rajgir.
After visiting the see the ruined placed and came to know
that how Nalanda has a famous library where many noble people has spent their
time and enriched our culture Gautam Buddha, Mahavir and Arayabhatt were few of
them. In the library there were treasure of books contained the book of
grammar, astrology, astronomy and medicine apart of religious books.
After that they come to “Shanti Stupa” one of the 80 stupa
in the world where in the ancient era it was used for meditation.
They have also visited Sonbhandar and ironically came to
know that it was named so that sone stand for surang (tunnel) bhandar
(Treasure) Treasure of numerous tunnel filled of many mineral and material like
sulfur, Iron etc (as explained by one of the old person aged around 80
approx).They have also noticed sculpture of ancient era mainly related to
Jainism.
During their visit of Brahmkund ( The hot water pond) they
came to know that water crosses the tunnel Sonbhandar) before showering in the
Kund and that is why the water turns hot and cures many disease mainly related
to skin.
The students were astonished and feeling proud after knowing
all these.
