Conducting a ‘Gift of Blood’ drive is a meaningful and positive way to stand for our fellow citizens whose lives are altered due to mishappenings in life. To bring this valued thought in practice Cybotech Campus, a leading College of IT and Mgmt has joined hands with Lions Club Patliputra Ashok, Lions Club of Patliputra Chandragupt and Lions Club of Patliputra Magadh with Lions Blood Bank at Mahavir Cancer Sansthan & Research Centre in organising a Mega Blood Donation Campaign to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Great Indian Freedom Fighter “Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose” on 23^rd January 2016 at Cybotech Tower, Boring-Patliputra Road. The Mega Blood Donation Camp is supported by India’s Leading Newspaper- The Times of India and Heart Hospital, Kankarbagh, Patna. Lion Dr.Vinod Kumar Singh, and Past Council Chairperson Ln. Er. Ashok Kumar inaugurated the function. Lion MJF.Abhijit Kumar, an active Lion Member of the District 322E and Director of Cybotech Campus inaugurated the blood donation as the first donor. He was followed by faculty members, Students (Cybotians),Lion Members and many others.

Cybotech Campus is organising Blood Donation Camps annually since 2001 in association of Lions Club of Patliputra Ashok (Dist 322E) and Lions Blood Bank at Mahavir Cancer Sansthan and Research Centre, Phulwarisharif, Patna. Our students are mainly responsible for its success. This year, a target of 251 units of blood has been set. Through this camp, we donated 51 units of Blood. Many youths of different Institutions also joined voluntarily in this blood donation camp. The registration started at 10:00 AM sharp. The donors will get a donor card, certificate and a badge. They can avail the blood of any group against the provided donor card (within a year from the donation date). The Blood Donation certificate will be duly signed by Lions Club International District Governor and Director, Mahavir Cancer Sansthan & Research Centre.

Blood is the most important life-saver. Unfortunately, quality blood is perennially in short supply. Not only the blood-donation is important but creating the awareness about the voluntary donation too is important. We at Cybotech Campus understand this and we look forward for the co-operation of important pillar of society MEDIA to exhibit the spirit of humanity. The program was co-ordinated by Dean of the College Prof. Renuka Yashaswee, who is also President of Lions Club of Patliputra Ashok. Faculty and Members of Cybotech Campus, Prof. Ashutosh Kumar, F. Khan, Ajeet Kumar Shukla, Sub. Maj(Retd) B.N.Yadav, Shanker Sharan Sinha, Alok Kumar Singh, Ganesh Mishra, Mrs. Rachna Ratnakar, Sanjib Kumar, Nikhil Chandra, Roushan Kumar, Sharawan Kumar, Ms.Tushangi Verma,Sagar Kumar played an important role in motivating the Students. Lion Members Ln. Giridhar Jhunjhunwala,

 Umesh Prasad, Seema Kumar, Manibala Singh “Madhu”, Manish Kumar, Ln. S.K. Sinha, Ln. Sanjay Kumar Singh and other Lion Members also motivated the students. Thanks to Ln. Dr. Subodh Kumar Sinha, Head of Blood Bank at Mahavir Cancer Sansthan for co-ordinating the camp. Special thanks to The Times of India for coming forward with Heart Hospital, Kankarbagh, Patna for supporting this Blood Donation Camp and doing CSR.
